The boutique Gramercy Park Hotel makes you feel relaxed and secluded despite being in the city. One of my favorite things about the Gramercy is the rotating art collection: works by Damien Hirst, Andy Warhol, David Lachapelle and Richard Prince, just to name a few.
Make sure to ask the concierge to provide you access to Gramercy Park across the street. It is a private park but you will be given a golden key, which makes you feel very special. The concierge will let you in to enjoy the beautiful grounds. When you are ready to leave, simple call them to let you out.
