All Aboard for a fabulous Jean-Georges Experience. Set sail in the New York Harbor now through October 31st courtesy of The Mark’s Hotel.
The Mark Hotel Sailboat is a 70-foot ship that was built in 1921 by Nathanael Herreshoff. Herreshoff also produced a number of undefeated America’s Cup yachts, as well as vessels for notable clients like John Pierpont Morgan and William Randolph Hearst. Today, the hotel makes this historic ship available for short cruises and sunset sails. Enjoy 3-hour sails, scheduled twice a day; at lunchtime or in the late afternoon. The journey comes complete with cashmere throws, a fall-inspired menu and Michelin-star chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten himself on board.
Captains Owen Wellison and James Brooks will handle the heavy lifting while you enjoy the arrival of fall and the stunning change of colors on this journey up the Hudson River from Manhattan.
After arriving at Tribeca’s North Cove Marina, guests will board the boat and set sail for a beautiful experience. Backed by views of the Statue of Liberty and the city skyline, Chef Jean-Georges will take guests through the preparation of a variety of dishes, each crafted with his twist. The bespoke menu can be selected beforehand in accordance with guest preferences. The Mark’s sommelier will also be available to suggest wine pairings. For your safety, the crew will provide hotel-branded face masks, hand sanitizer and disinfecting hand wipes.
Upon your return to the dock, a car can be available to take you back home or to the plush comforts of The Mark Hotel. This adventure is open to all interested parties, not just hotel guests. The starting price is $20,000 for up to 10 guests to ensure social distancing can be practiced aboard the vessel.
Don’t miss out on a unique way to take in the fall foliage on this luxury sail.
