Q:  WHY HIRE AN EVENT PLANNER?

A:  You can hire an event planner for a variety of reasons, including but not limited to:

  • To save yourself from the stress and headache of the planning process
  • To give a repeat event a new, refreshing boost
  • To seamlessly manage the often underestimated and challenging logistical nature of an event
  • Because you’re not sure where to start
  • Because you started too late
  • Because planning this event is just a small fraction of your overall workload
  • Because you need to make the most out of your budget
  • Because you need help sourcing the perfect vendors
  • Because this event will be in the spotlight

Q: HOW DO I KNOW IF You are A GOOD FIT FOR MY EVENT?

A: I recommend scheduling a consultation to ensure that we’re the right fit. I am very flexible and here to meet your needs right out of the gate. I am confident that we will find a positive and productive way to work together and create an unforgettable event for you and your guests.

Q: HOW SOON SHOULD I BOOK YOUR SERVICES?

A: This all depends on the type and size of event you are planning. I always like to start the planning process early. It’s so much better to have some breathing room as the event approaches. 

Q: HOW DO YOU SELECT YOUR VENDORS?

A: I developed working relationships with many high-quality vendors through the events I have produced. I always ensure that my vendors are at the top of their fields with all the necessary licenses and insurances. I consider this to be a particularly important part of my job and a huge perk of hiring an event planner. 

Q: DO I HAVE TO EXCLUSIVELY GO THROUGH YOUR VENDORS IF I HIRE YOU AS MY PLANNER?

A: No. However, I have developed great relationships with many top vendors, and I can guarantee that my contacts will provide the highest quality of service for your event. With that said, I am more than happy to work with any vendors you would prefer but cannot guarantee the quality of their service if I haven’t worked with them personally.  

Q: DO YOU OFFER DAY OF COORDINATION SUPPORT?

A: Absolutely. Coordination support will allow you to concentrate on being fully present at your event without worrying about the behind the scenes operations.

Q: HOW OFTEN WILL WE MEET?

A:  I will have a sense of this after our first consultation. Once I have a better understanding of your vision for your event, I will design a meeting schedule that works for you.

Q: WHAT ARE YOUR FEES?

A: I charge a fee based on the number of hours that I spend working on the event. We agree upon my fee at the time of my contract. My fee only changes if the scope of the project changes.

Q: WHAT SEPARATES YOU FROM OTHER EVENT PLANNERS?

A: It boils down to the fact that I will treat your event as if it is our own. We will be a team, and I will be there to make your dreams a reality. With my one-on-one service, I will help you assess and select your options in a stress-free and efficient way. I will be there throughout the entire event process to ensure we produce a successful and fabulous event!

Q: WHAT WOULD YOU SAY IS YOUR GREATEST STRENGTH?

A: Without a doubt, my greatest strength is my ability to plan, manage, and execute logistics in a seamless and efficient manner. In order to make an event smooth, remarkable, and delightful for guests, one must be able to craft a meticulously detailed plan.

Q: ARE THERE ANY TYPES OF EVENTS YOU WILL NOT HELP PLAN?

A: I do not plan weddings. The majority of the events I produce are cocktail parties, client dinners, Board of Directors meetings, dinner parties, and brand awareness events. I’m always open to producing new events, just not weddings.

Q: WHAT SIZE EVENTS DO YOU TYPICALLY MANAGE?

A: When it comes to my clients and events, I wouldn’t say I have a “typical” guest list size – and I love that. I have produced events for two people and 1,200 people. Recently, I have focused on events for under 150 guests.

Q: DO YOU TRAVEL?

A:  Yes, all the time! I am based in New York City but I travel globally to produce events for my clients.
